About the role
Corporate Recruiter 1 partners with assigned departments and builds relationships with hiring managers to manage open hiring needs. This role leads the full life-cycle recruitment process for multiple roles, often within high-volume teams, primarily through active sourcing rather than passive candidate searches. While some strategy development is involved, the focus is on executing established recruitment strategies.
Responsibilities
- Builds relationships with hiring managers, understanding team efficiencies and qualities sought in candidates.
- Takes action on open hiring needs and collaborates with hiring managers to create hiring plans.
- Provides timely updates to maintain open communication with hiring managers.
- Recruits for multiple positions within designated departments or teams.
- Sources and maintains a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Produces and communicates reports showing progress on open roles.
- Assists with the day-to-day efficient operation of the hiring process.
- Conducts pre-screen interviews with qualified candidates; may involve hiring managers for initial feedback.
- Accurately and timely tracks candidates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Obtains feedback and interview notes from hiring managers promptly.
- Extends job offers and sends required onboarding paperwork.
- Works to meet hiring goals, including time-to-fill and retention metrics.
- Serves as an ACA brand ambassador.
Requirements
- 1+ years of recruitment experience preferred.
- Experience working in a corporate environment with a desire to learn recruiting.
- College degree in Human Resources, Marketing, or other relevant field preferred.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or ability to navigate multiple applications/programs.
- High level of professionalism, including strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to creatively solve problems and connect with people.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday through Friday, with some variations as needed.
Travel
This position may require up to 10% travel.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
