Principal - Architecture

Key Responsibilities

• 12-15 years in Data Warehousing Data Platform Architecture
• 4-5 years of hands-on Snowflake Architecture experience
• Snowflake performance tuning, security, RBAC, data sharing, streams, tasks
• Data modeling, dimensional, data vault, SQL, Python, ELT, ETL frameworks
• Experience with Oracle Informatica or legacy EDW modernization
• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS
• Lead source-to-target data mapping from Oracle or legacy systems to Snowflake
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks
• Build and manage data products aligned with business use cases
• Work on data modeling, dimensional, normalized for analytics and reporting
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
• Optimize Snowflake performance, cost, and storage strategies
• Ensure data quality, governance, and lineage tracking
• Support end-of-day EOD batch migration and transformation workloads
• Work closely with onsite/offshore teams for delivery

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake mandatory
• Expertise in SQL, data warehousing, and ELT pipelines
• Experience with tools like dbt, Informatica, Talend, or Azure Data Factory
• Knowledge of data pipeline orchestration with Airflow or similar
• Experience in cloud platforms Azure, AWS, GCP

Functional Domain Skills

• Understanding of BFSI domain, wealth management preferred
• Experience in data products and analytics platforms, Investment Management, Asset Management domain
• Trade lifecycle understanding, securities, equities, fixed income, derivatives, portfolio position and holdings data, benchmark and market data, IBOR, ABOR concepts, NAV calculations, regulatory reporting

• Ability to work in client-facing onsite roles
