Job Summary
The Testing Transformation Lead is responsible for defining and executing the enterprise-wide Quality Engineering and Testing Transformation strategy. The role drives modernization of testing practices through automation, AI adoption, DevOps integration, Test Data Management (TDM), Test Environment Management (TEM), quality metrics transformation, and operating model improvements to improve speed, quality, productivity, and business outcomes. This role partners with business, engineering, product, and delivery leaders to establish a future-ready Quality Engineering organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Transformation Strategy Leadership: Define and execute the Testing Transformation roadmap aligned with organisational quality and engineering goals; establish target state Quality Engineering operating models and maturity frameworks; lead largescale transformation programmes across Agile, DevOps, and Product Engineering teams; drive adoption of industry leading testing methodologies, tools, and best practices; create executive dashboards, KPIs, and transformation success measures.
- Quality Engineering Modernisation: Develop enterprise automation strategy covering UI, API, Data, and Performance testing; drive shift left and shift right testing practices; promote risk based and intelligent testing approaches; define test automation and AI enabled testing adoption plans; improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and release confidence.
- AI Innovation: Identify and prioritize GenAI use cases in Quality Engineering; drive AI assisted test design, test script generation, defect prediction, and test optimization initiatives; evaluate emerging technologies and establish innovation roadmaps; measure transformation value realization and productivity gains.
- Test Data & Environment Transformation: Establish enterprise Test Data Management strategy; improve test data quality, masking, provisioning, and self-service capabilities; drive Test Environment Management improvements to increase availability and reliability; implement automation and governance for environment provisioning and monitoring.
- Governance & Metrics: Define enterprise-wide quality metrics and transformation KPIs; establish measurement frameworks for automation coverage, defect leakage, release quality, cycle time reduction, productivity improvement, AI adoption, and customer satisfaction; lead executive governance and steering committee reviews.
- Change Management & Adoption: Drive organisational change required for transformation initiatives; establish Communities of Practice (CoPs); develop training and capability building programmes; ensure stakeholder alignment and adoption across business and technology teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with CIOs, Engineering Leaders, Product Owners, Architecture teams, and Vendors; present transformation progress and outcomes to executive leadership; manage strategic relationships with testing tool and technology partners.

- Functional Skills: Quality Engineering Transformation, Test Automation Strategy, Agile/SAFe Methodologies, DevOps/CI/CD, Test Management, Enterprise QA Governance, Metrics & Analytics, Digital Transformation Programmes.
- Technical Skills: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium; API Testing (Postman, Rest Assured); Performance Testing (JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad); Test Management Tools (JIRA, QMetry, Zephyr, Azure DevOps); Test Data Management Solutions; CI/CD Platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins); Power BI for Advanced Reporting; AI/GenAI Testing Solutions.
- Leadership Skills: Executive Stakeholder Management, Strategic Planning, Large Programme Leadership, Change Management, Financial/Business Case Development, Coaching and Team Development.

- 15+ years in Quality Engineering and Testing
- 5+ years leading enterprise testing transformation programmes
- Experience managing global delivery models
- Experience transforming traditional testing organisations into Quality Engineering practices

Compensation
This position includes a bonus or variable payout component based on individual and organizational performance. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance, and internal equity. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salary target for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and job level and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Depending on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of overall compensation like an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive pay, and other forms of bonus or variable compensation.
