About the role

The Analyst Relations Principal will lead strategic engagement with industry analysts across observability, AI, and adjacent cloud technologies. The role involves translating complex technical capabilities into compelling narratives and bringing analyst insights back into the business to inform strategy and positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the global analyst relations strategy across Datadog’s observability and AI portfolio
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key analysts across firms such as Gartner, Forrester, and IDC
  • Partner with Product Management and Product Marketing to craft clear, differentiated narratives aligned to market trends
  • Lead strategy, preparation and execution of analyst evaluations and research cycles, ensuring high-quality submissions
  • Prepare senior leaders for analyst briefings with structured messaging and executive-ready materials
  • Synthesize analyst insights into actionable recommendations for product strategy and go-to-market alignment

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Analyst Relations, Product Marketing, or a related role within the technology industry
  • Proven experience building and scaling analyst engagement programs tied to business objectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
  • Strong executive presence with experience working with and advising senior executives in high-visibility external engagements
  • Hightly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product Management and Marketing

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience in a similar role within the technology industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
