Princeton - Corporate & Business Transactions 2027 Entry-Level Associate

The Princeton office of Morgan Lewis seeks to hire a third-year law student/Fall 2027 entry-level associate for our corporate and business transactions practice.

About the role

The successful applicant should have a strong interest in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, capital markets, and other corporate transactions, and possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong organization, writing, and analytical skills. The associate would join the firm after completion of law school and sitting for the New Jersey bar exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents related to mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and other corporate transactions.
• Research and analyze legal issues relevant to corporate transactions.
• Work closely with clients and colleagues to understand their needs and provide strategic advice.
• Prepare and present legal opinions and memoranda to clients and management.
• Participate in client meetings and other professional activities as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a JD program at an accredited law school.
• Strong academic record, with high grades in law school.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passionate about corporate and business transactions.
