Duties and responsibilities
- Works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way.
- Pairs with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for an attributed panel.
- Performs duties in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards.
Position Details
- Location: Mercy Clinic Primary Care, 621 S. New Ballas Road, Medical Tower A, Suite 399, St. Louis, MO 63141
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 0800-1630, no nights, weekends, or holidays
- Training: Requires a minimum of three months on-site training before transitioning to a hybrid work-from-home schedule.
- Work Model: After training, follows a 50/50 hybrid model, with full-time co-workers expected to work on-site five days per pay period.
- Additional Commitment: Must be available to attend monthly on-site clinic meetings.
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Education - Diploma in Practical Nursing; Licensure - Active LPN license; Experience - 2-3 years preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN): Education - Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing, Graduation from registered nursing program, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN), or 4 years of commensurate experience in lieu of the bachelor’s degree; Licensure - Active RN license; Experience - 2-3 years preferred.
Highly Preferred Skills
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
- Timely and thorough patient triage skills
- Computer competency (most of this position will be computer work)
- Excellent time management and prioritization
- Adaptability in a new and changing environment
