Primary Care RN or LPN

About the Role

Our Primary Care Nurse is a newly created role for the clinics. In this position, the nurse will work closely with Providers and manage triage calls and messages for the clinic. After completing on-site training, this role transitions to a 50/50 hybrid model, allowing work-from-home flexibility.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 0800-1630. No nights, weekends, or holidays. Must complete three months of on-site training prior to transitioning to a hybrid schedule. Full-time (1.0 FTE) co-workers are expected to work on-site five days per pay period and attend monthly on-site clinic meetings.

• Manage triage calls and messages for the clinic
• Work closely with Providers
• Adapt to a hybrid work model after training completion

Qualifications

LPN Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing
• Licensure: Active LPN license
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience preferred

RN Qualifications

• Education: Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing, graduation from a registered nursing program, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN), OR 4 years of commensurate experience in lieu of the bachelor’s degree
• Licensure: Active RN license
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience preferred

Skills

• Proficiency with Epic EMR system
• Timely and thorough patient triage skills
• Computer competency (most of this position will be computer work)
• Excellent time management and prioritization
• Adaptability in a new and changing environment
