About the role

Oswego Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Primary Care Physician to join their expanding team in Onondaga County. This role involves delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care in a modern outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting medical histories and physical exams
  • Diagnosing acute and chronic conditions
  • Developing evidence-based treatment plans
  • Ordering diagnostic tests
  • Coordination of specialty referrals as needed
  • Managing a diverse panel of new and established patients

Requirements

  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Experience in family medicine
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Current license to practice medicine in New York State
  • Passing scores on the USMLE or COMLEX

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in electronic health records
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
