Primary Care Physician (Onondaga County)
About the role
Oswego Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Primary Care Physician to join their expanding team in Onondaga County. This role involves delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care in a modern outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Conducting medical histories and physical exams
- Diagnosing acute and chronic conditions
- Developing evidence-based treatment plans
- Ordering diagnostic tests
- Coordination of specialty referrals as needed
- Managing a diverse panel of new and established patients
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility
- Experience in family medicine
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Current license to practice medicine in New York State
- Passing scores on the USMLE or COMLEX
Skills
- Strong clinical skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Proficient in electronic health records
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
