Primary Care Physician

About the role

The Primary Care Physician (PCP) provides direct patient care in ambulatory settings, performing assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and developing care plans. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in clinical rounds, and document thoroughly per quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patient health independently within a team context.
• Perform physical exams, develop, document, and implement care plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and refer as needed.
• Participate in clinical rounds, conferences, and team collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, quality improvement, and patient advocacy.

Qualifications & Skills

• Requires MD or DO in internal, family medicine, or geriatrics;
• Current medical license;
• Board eligibility or certification;
• DEA license;
• BLS certification.

Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical, communication, leadership, and analytical skills, with a focus on quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and technology integration.
