About the role
UNC Health Primary Care at Graham is seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to join their team at this new, state-of-the-art facility. This is an exceptional opportunity to help shape a new practice, deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of the individuals and families they serve.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive preventive healthcare
- Manage acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
- Offer routine screening and diagnostic testing
- Deliver women's health services
- Address mental health needs within a primary care setting
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Strong interest in caring for medically complex adult patients
- Demonstrated experience and interest in addressing mental health needs within a primary care setting
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
- Licensure/Certification Requirements: Board certified in area of specialty; License in healthcare specialty; DEA; ACLS; BCLS; MD/DO
- Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Language Skills - Proficient in English; Reasoning Ability - High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.
