About the role

UNC Primary Care at Garner is seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to join their team at this new, state-of-the-art facility. This is an exceptional opportunity to help shape a new practice, deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of the individuals and families they serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventive healthcare
• Manage acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
• Offer routine screening and diagnostic testing
• Deliver women's health services
• Address mental health needs within a primary care setting

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Strong interest in caring for medically complex adult patients
• Demonstrated experience and interest in addressing mental health needs within a primary care setting

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
• North Carolina Medical License
• DEA License
• BLS/ACLS certification preferred
• Board certified in Family Medicine

Skills

• High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills
