Primary Care Physician

About the role

The Primary Care Physician will provide professional medical services to complement the delivery of integrated team-based, whole-person, trauma-informed primary health care services. They will work at the Minnie Jones Health Center for 10 to 29 hours weekly, with flexible schedules from 7 am to 6 pm.

Qualifications

  • Education and Training: Graduation from an accredited school of medicine with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy is required. Completion of residency from an accredited program is required.
  • Certifications/Licensure: Current unrestricted North Carolina MD or DO licensure, DEA and BLS are required. Must be Medicaid and Medicare eligible. Board Certification is preferred. AAHIVM Certification is preferred.
  • Experience: Must have or be able to obtain admitting privileges to the local hospital. Previous medical office or FQHC experience is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledgeable about current standards, methods, and procedures for the delivery of evidence-based care in an efficient, organized, and accurate manner. Have collaboration and teamwork skills to work efficiently with others to provide new ideas and help inspire staff and management. Flexibility to work with a variety of people differing in ages, personalities, and backgrounds. Demonstrates leadership, teaching, and evaluation skills.

Pay

Hourly range $90.00 to $105.00

Schedule

Monday through Friday from 7 am to 6 pm
