Location: Hartford County, CT – 100 % outpatient practice.
About the role
We are seeking a patient-oriented, compassionate Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join our growing team.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm
- Rotated telephone-only call, less than once per month
Responsibilities
- Examine patients, obtain medical histories, and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Create and communicate treatment plans, involving patients and family members
- Initiate appropriate specialty referrals
- Collaborate with management, other physicians, and staff to improve care delivery and service
- Work with the care team to close care gaps and improve quality measures
- Ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements in partnership with practice management
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine
