Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications
- Coordinate specialty referrals
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure
- Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or outpatient clinical services preferred
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, communication, and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills
