Primary Care Physician – Internal Medicine / Family Medicine Location: Newark, NJ Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join a well-established, team-oriented medical practice in Newark. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.Provide comprehensive primary care, including preventive services and chronic disease management.Prescribe medications and oversee appropriate treatment plans.Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.Partner with multidisciplinary care teams to improve patient outcomes and care coordination.Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership to achieve quality and performance objectives.Support the daily operations and clinical effectiveness of the medical center.Perform additional clinical responsibilities as needed. Required Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school.Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.Active, unrestricted, non-probationary state medical license.Active DEA registration.Authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Experience providing care to geriatric or older adult populations.Fellowship training in Geriatrics.Background in outpatient primary care.Familiarity with value-based care and quality-driven clinical models.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Bilingual communication skills, where applicable.
