Primary Care Assistant-LPN - PRN, Days

Duties and responsibilities

• Works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way.
• Pairs with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients.

Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast-Primary Care
Address: 817 S Mount Auburn Road, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701
Hours/Schedule: PRN Shift
Days: Minimum 32+ hours per pay period

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensed as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in the state of practice.
• 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.

Physical Requirements

• Requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
