Primary Care Assistant-LPN - PRN, Days

About the role

Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care LPN works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care LPN will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients.

Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast-Primary Care, 817 S Mount Auburn Road, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care under direction of primary care operations team.
• Work directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers.
• Partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes.
• Perform duties consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensure: Licensed as an LPN in the state of practice.
• Preferred Experience: 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly; prolonged standing and walking each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Schedule

PRN (as needed) shift days.
