Primary Care Assistant - LPN - Full Time

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a primary care clinic, working closely with the practice manager and healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician or nurse practitioner.
• Refilling medications, assisting with treatments, and coordinating patient care, testing, and procedures across departments.
• Maintaining patient rights and confidentiality during clinic appointments and phone communications.

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and valid LPN licensure.
• Preferred certifications may include BLS, IV Certification, ACLS/ALS, PALS, PEARS, or unit-specific credentials, with some required within specified timeframes.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform various physical tasks including reaching, bending, and kneeling.
