The LPN utilizes the nursing process to assist with treatment, medication refills, and patient assessments under the supervision of a licensed physician or nurse practitioner. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, testing, and procedures with various departments, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are maintained. Key Duties Provide compassionate patient care during clinic appointments and phone interactions.Refill medications and assist with treatment plans.Coordinate testing and procedures with multidisciplinary teams.Maintain professional accountability and uphold patient confidentiality. Qualifications And Skills Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.Licensed as an LPN in the practice state.Preferred certifications may include BLS, IV Certification, ACLS/ALS, PALS, PEARS, and other unit-specific credentials.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical duties.
