Primary Care Assistant - LPN - Full Time, Days

About the Role

This position is a lead within the department, working alongside the practice manager to provide patient care under the supervision of licensed physicians or nurse practitioners. The role involves refilling medications, assisting with treatments, coordinating patient testing and procedures, and maintaining patient confidentiality and rights.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver care during clinic visits and phone calls.
• Ensure proper coordination with other departments.
• Uphold professional accountability for patient interactions.
• Provide compassionate patient care and support treatment procedures.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Coordinate care with other departments in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensed as an LPN.
• Preferred certifications: BLS and IV certification.
• Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E.) may be required based on departmental needs.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, reach, bend, and perform various physical activities.
