Primary Care APP at Highlands - Denver, CO
About the Role
AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is seeking an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Primary Care at Highlands team in the Denver Metro area. AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth with over 600 Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers across 27 service lines in Colorado, operating 5 hospitals, 8 freestanding emergency and urgent care centers, and 6 ambulatory surgery centers.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-focused primary care within a collaborative, collegial team environment
- Collaborate with a robust network of specialists
- Build on an existing patient base through a large internal referral network
- Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system integrated throughout all hospital and practice locations
- Model and lead excellence in clinical practice, doctor-patient relationships, and professionalism while maintaining AdventHealth's Mission, Vision, and Values
Qualifications
- Team player with patient-first mindset
- Minimum of 2 years of experience relevant to Family Medicine
- Completed undergraduate and master's Level Nursing Programs from an accredited school of Nursing and passed state boards
- Current, unrestricted full APN license to practice in Colorado
- Current Colorado DEA Licensure
- AANP or ANCC certification, or become certified within 5 years of completion of Master's Degree
- NCCPA Certification from an accredited PA Program
- Current, unrestricted PA License
- American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- No new graduates – 2+ years of experience required
Compensation
Annual Compensation: $162,805
