About the role
This office will open in 2026 and regular hours will be Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 with a requirement of 36 patient contact hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct physical exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and provide patient education on medication use.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice in North Carolina as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- At least three years of experience in the outpatient primary care setting.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing Practice.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina.
- Passing scores on relevant national certification exams (PA-C, NP).
