About the role
This role involves responding to and managing inquiries, complaints, and feedback from customer accounts. Responsibilities include supporting customers through various channels like in-person, phone, email, and social media, collecting and recording customer data, and maintaining accurate records of interactions.
Responsibilities
- Grow and manage a current portfolio of accounts
- Proactively engage new customers through internet, phone, social media, referrals, and networking to secure transportation shipments
- Negotiate and close sales opportunities by understanding customer needs and proposing and implementing aligned solutions
- Set and meet sales goals and objectives established by leadership
- Ensure efficient customer billing and payment processes
- Communicate effectively and provide quality customer service using excellent oral communication skills
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, patience, and empathy. They must be able to work under pressure and build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Qualifications
- Experience in customer service or sales is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
