Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of value-based ticket pricing strategies and robust financial models for Sports and Entertainment programming.
  • Synthesize content strategy, marketing plans, and consumer perceived value to forecast and drive financial impact.
  • Execute real-time dynamic pricing for live events based on ticket sell-through velocity, price elasticity, and demand forecasts to optimize total yield.
  • Optimize pricing and inventory allocation between corporate and consumer sales channels in close collaboration with Venue Sales teams.
  • Use a data-driven approach to identify underperforming categories or customer segments; provide high-impact promotional guidelines to Venue Marketing.
  • A/B Test design and deployment of rigorous testing methodologies to determine maximal "Willingness to Pay" across event categories, seating zones, and customer cohorts.
  • Integrate existing revenue management tools into daily workflows and contribute to the evolution of Cosm’s proprietary systems alongside the Revenue Data Science team.
  • Partner with the Analytics team to deliver actionable revenue reporting and strategic insights to stakeholders across the business.
  • Maintain pricing consistency across internal processes and external consumer touchpoints in partnership with Content Operations.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years of expertise in Pricing, Revenue Management, Marketing, Strategy, or related Commercial functions.
  • Analytical Rigor: Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive measurable business results. Highly efficient in pricing and financial modeling.
  • Leadership: Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex initiatives independently and cross-functionally.
  • Consumer Insight: Innate curiosity regarding consumer behavior, purchasing patterns, and price sensitivity. An understanding of the full Commercial lifecycle is preferred.
  • Agility: Independent and creative thinker who thrives in emerging industries. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to methodically work through complex, shifting problems.
  • Start-up DNA: Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” to do foundational work while testing new approaches. Able to deftly prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Confident and self-aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. A high impact presence—capable of quickly establishing credibility, influencing constituencies and persuading professionals at all levels.
  • Technical Tools: Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Tableau and Excel); experience with data warehousing platforms (e.g., Databricks) is a plus.
  • Industry Background: Experience in the sports, Live Entertainment, Hospitality, or Travel and tourism industries is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA degree is a plus.
