Pricing & Deal Structuring Specialist
About the role
The Pricing & Deal Structuring Specialist prepares the financial models and analysis for complex outsourcing and consulting arrangements. They support the creation of the pricing approach and the client value proposition. Using accounting principles, they prepare income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows in compliance with US GAAP, Accenture Policy, and Commercial Standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present financial statements supporting new client opportunities
- Leverage client cost data to develop cost baselines and client business cases in support of sales efforts
- Identify costs and perform cost buildup for an individual opportunity
- Assess and apply various pricing methodologies to meet company and client objectives
- Ensure revenue recognition is US GAAP compliant, and Accenture policies are reflected accurately within the financial models
- Responsible for acquiring and maintaining all documentation supporting the financial statements on all new opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Minimum of 3 years of experience performing pricing and deal structuring as a financial analyst
- Minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing Excel and financial concepts
Qualifications
- Have knowledge in applying US GAAP
- Have experience in pricing and deal structuring
- Hold a CPA/MBA
- Be a PC user and know the Microsoft Office Suite
- Have proficiency in Excel, financial concepts (NPV, IRR, Payback, etc.), and budgeting
- Can work on more than one project at a time
- Like to work both independently and as part of a team
- Feel comfortable talking with senior managers
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Can work creatively and analytically to solve problems
- Easily share your ideas in person and in writing
- Give others the information and assistance they need with a positive 'can-do' customer service attitude
- Have led a team – at school, at work, or in the military
