About the role
A pricing analyst is responsible for analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and product costs to determine optimal pricing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and experience in financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to inform pricing strategy
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to ensure profitability
- Develop and maintain pricing models using statistical software
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management
- Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in pricing analysis or financial analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and statistical software (e.g., R, Python)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques
- Knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
