About the role
This position provides prevention expertise, strategic leadership and technical consultation for substance use prevention within Rutland and Addison Counties through the Vermont Prevention Lead Organization (VPLO) grant funding structure.
Responsibilities
- Lead activities in accordance with the grant and ensure all grant objectives are met
- Lead and facilitate a community-based approach and coalition building to establish collaborative strategic communication and implementation plans
- Oversee and report out on activities and events supported by prevention grant funding
- Prepare, monitor, and document budgets and reports in conjunction with grant requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, social services, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum three years of community experience involving public health and preventative program development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation
- Valid Driver’s License
- Certified Prevention Specialist Certification preferred

Pay
The pay range for this position is $24.16 - $35.19 per hour.
