About the role
The Preventative Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing the preventive maintenance schedule for all company equipment and facilities. This individual will ensure that all equipment is maintained according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan for all company equipment and facilities.
- Oversee the execution of the preventative maintenance schedule, ensuring adherence to timelines and standards.
- Monitor equipment performance and make recommendations for improvements based on data analysis.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve complex maintenance issues and improve overall equipment efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff in preventative maintenance techniques and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with asset management software.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
