Maintenance Lead

Duties

• Implement equipment and/or process improvements using PLC’s, servo or variable speed drives, camera technology, robotic technology, and other resources.
• Communicate and interface with suppliers to ensure effective daily operations.
• Team with suppliers and original equipment manufacturers to represent Tarkett and appropriately communicate with the project team.
• Operate and debug machine controllers, motion systems, robotics, HMI’s, and other related components.
• Train lesser experienced electricians and mechanics to improve department skills and abilities.
• Affirmatively assist engineers in machine validation, both internally and at customer facilities, while adhering to Tarkett work ethics and standards.
• Attend technical training classes as necessary and share acquired knowledge with peers and electrical maintenance personnel.

• Conceptualize, design, build, and implement simple to moderate control systems and manufacturing equipment.
