What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HP Indigo Series 3 & 4 presses
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic issues
- Partner with HP support teams and onsite Field Service Engineers (FSEs) for diagnostics and escalations
- Maintain UTKs, service documentation, and accurate spare-parts inventory
- Support equipment startups, installations, upgrades, and new product launches
- Uphold strict safety standards (PPE, Lockout/Tagout, chemical handling, ergonomics)
- Respond to HelpDesk tickets and resolve equipment downtime quickly and accurately
- Perform remote diagnostics with Level 1/2 teams
- Rebuild major components, optimize machine operations, and support continuous improvement
- Collaborate with operators and technicians to deepen technical understanding across systems
- Auxiliary in press operation during peak periods or emergency coverage required
- Maintain excellent communication, including clear daily pass-downs
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience maintaining digital presses or comparable industrial equipment
- Strong preference for: HP Indigo certification, HP Tech Training, or Indigo Academy coursework
- Experience with HP Indigo Series 3, Series 4, 18K, or 7250 presses
- Experience with Canon iX inkjet nice to have!
- Strong technical proficiency in: Mechanical & electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, sensors, stepper/servo motors, motion control systems, Electrical wiring, control panels, and safety interlocks
- Ability to read circuit diagrams, relay ladder logic, and perform RCA
- Ability to use voltmeters, ammeters, and precision diagnostic tools
- Comfortable working independently, prioritizing tasks, and documenting work clearly
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and peak-season schedules
- Positive working relationships and support a collaborative team environment
