Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors, material handling equipment, lift trucks, dock equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical and electronic issues involving PLCs, motor drives (Servo and VFD), networks, and external I/O devices
- Utilize diagnostic tools including multi-meters, laptops, and other testing equipment
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure personal and associate safety
- Maintain organized work areas and promote a safe working environment within the Maintenance department
- Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment as required
- Ensure workmanship meets the highest quality standards
- Aid and support other maintenance technicians with repairs and equipment maintenance
- Communicate clearly with associates, suppliers, and leadership to minimize equipment downtime
- Complete work orders, logs, records, and other written or computer-based documentation in accordance with established procedures
- Initiate and implement new procedures or system improvements to maximize equipment efficiency and uptime
- Contribute ideas and designs to improve existing equipment and maintenance processes
Requirements
- Coursework or certification in electronic technology plus 2 years of industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology OR 3 years of industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment
- PLC/PC program knowledge with troubleshooting experience
- Industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices and networks
- Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to business leadership
- Willingness to work shift schedules, overtime, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
- Customer service–oriented mindset and strong teamwork skills
Preferred Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in electronic technology plus 2 years of industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology
