Schedule

Monday – Friday 7AM - 5PM (Overtime Eligible)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic (heavy construction equipment or rental equipment strongly preferred)
• Intermediate experience with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and gas engines
• Experience with Tier 4 engines and DPF, SCR, and EGR aftertreatment systems is preferred
• Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment
• Must have the necessary tools to perform equipment repairs
• Ability to inspect, service, and test equipment to ensure performance meets manufacturer specifications
• Intermediate understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods
• Diesel laptop and welding experience is strongly preferred
• Safety-oriented, maintaining industry and Sunstate safety standards while performing repairs
• Willingness to learn and grow within the position
