Press Operator Packer 2nd Shift

About the role

Ambitious individuals are needed to join our team. Work hours are from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm, with a straight 8-hour shift and a paid lunch break. The pay rate starts at $20.55/hour, with a scheduled increase at 3 months and 6 months of employment. An additional $0.75 shift differential applies for second shift work. Monthly attendance bonuses are available for the first full month of employment.

Responsibilities

• Placing materials and removing finished parts into stamping presses
• Completing production and inspection reports as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Hourly inspection of parts
• Packing parts off conveyor into various totes/bins

Requirements

• Prefer 1 year of previous manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Basic math skills, including working with percentages and fractions
• Ability to use and understand quality gauges, quality fixtures
• Able to read and interpret tape measures
• Experience with stamping presses or related manufacturing equipment preferred
• Ability to work in a factory environment - standing, bending
• Lifting up to 25 lbs
