Press Operator, 2nd Shift
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor the press continually, and report any problems to the foreman
- Number and label each part and box with proper information
- Keep track of production information on required paperwork
- Remove parts from press when cycle is complete, and place on a worktable
- Use a deflashing tool and gate clippers to remove excess material from parts
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Place correct number of parts in proper boxes and seal each box with tape
- Place box on proper skid and alert the Material Handler when the skid is full
- Track and report all scrap-on-scrap report
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required
Job Requirements
- Good reading and writing skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent walking/standing

The purpose of this position is to remove product from the press and prepare it for end use.
