Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior childcare, daycare, preschool, or toddler classroom experience required
- CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for supporting young children's growth and development
Requirements
- Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing and background requirements
Skills
- Knowledge of the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Ability to implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
- Experience fostering positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
- Ability to maintain an organized, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Experience communicating regularly with families regarding milestones, progress, and daily activities
- Experience partnering with assistant teachers to ensure classroom consistency and success
- Experience following all New Jersey childcare licensing and safety requirements
Pay & Schedule
- $18 per hour
- Full-Time, Monday-Friday
