Preschool Early Childhood Educator

About This Role

Northshire Day School in Manchester Center, VT is seeking a qualified Preschool Early Childhood Educator to work with Preschool (3–5) in a center-based environment. This position requires no formal credential — just relevant experience.

• Skills and education in child development and learning, building family and community relationships, observing, documenting, and assessing children, using developmentally appropriate practice, building quality curriculum following the Vermont Early Learning Standards, ensuring a healthy and safe environment, and a commitment to growing as an early childhood professional
• Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements

• Available to work between the hours of 8:30am-4:30pm
• Position begins immediately and is a year-round position
• Completed a minimum of 12 college credits in Early Education or related field and have experience working with children ages 0 to 5
• Candidates with an A.A. or B.A. in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Highly motivated Trainee with a High School Diploma and a commitment to complete all required coursework

• This Preschool Early Childhood Educator role pays $16.52 to $35.11/Hr.
