Preschool Educator

About the role

The Preschool Educator is responsible for creating an engaging and educational environment for children aged 3-5 years old. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering social skills, and providing a safe learning space.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily lesson plans aligned with state standards
• Monitor and assess children’s progress in various developmental areas
• Collaborate with other educators and administrators to enhance classroom activities
• Provide a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports all children’s needs
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Valid teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months
• At least two years of experience working with young children
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, and weekends

Qualifications

• Experience with child development theories and practices
• Knowledge of early childhood education standards and best practices
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Passion for working with children and a commitment to their growth and development

Pay

Salary range: $35,000 - $45,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
