Preschool Assistant Teacher- Full-Time, Part-Year
Miami Valley Child Development Centers (MVCDC) is seeking an Assistant Teacher – Head Start who believes that nurturing relationships and high-quality early learning set the stage for lifelong success.
About the role
In this role, you’ll work alongside a Lead Teacher to support a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom for children ages 3–5. You’ll help bring lessons to life, support daily routines, and foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. You’ll also partner with families, collaborate with your classroom team, and support children with diverse needs. Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher in creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans for children ages 3–5.
- Support daily classroom routines, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth through guided activities and interactions.
- Partner with families to support children’s learning and development.
- Collaborate with the classroom team to meet the diverse needs of all children.
