Miami Valley Child Development Centers (MVCDC) is seeking an Assistant Teacher – Head Start.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a Lead Teacher to support a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom for children ages 3–5.
• Help bring lessons to life.
• Support daily routines.
• Foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
• Partner with families.
• Collaborate with your classroom team.
• Support children with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Valid Ohio Early Childhood Educator License (ECE).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Skills
