Presale Ambassador

Position Overview

The Presale Ambassador plays a critical role in the New Club Opening process and serves as one of the community's first impressions of Crunch Fitness. This role is responsible for executing a strategic, high-impact field marketing and outreach plan designed to build excitement, drive brand awareness, generate leads, and sell memberships prior to and during the opening of a new Crunch location.

Presale Ambassador Responsibilities

• Community Outreach & Field Marketing
• Distribute Crunch Fitness marketing materials within a 1-5 mile radius of the club to build excitement and awareness for the new gym opening
• Conduct business-to-business outreach using personal transportation, engaging prospective members and local business owners
• Execute street-team and field marketing activities, including canvassing, sign holding, tent or trailer activations, special events, and other pre-sale initiatives
• Represent Crunch Fitness at community events while maintaining a high-energy, professional brand presence
• Lead Generation & Sales
• Identify potential leads and generate new memberships both in the pre-opening membership office and in the field using creative, guerrilla-style marketing tactics
• Tour prospective members through the club or pre-sale space with the goal of converting interest into memberships
• Maintain individual performance goals related to lead generation, memberships, marketing materials distributed, photos captured, social media engagement, and number of businesses visited per shift
• Community Partnerships & Brand Awareness
• Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses to support cross-promotions, on-site events, and increased brand awareness
• Member & Guest Experience
• Greet every member and guest with enthusiasm, positivity, and a welcoming attitude
• Answer incoming phone calls in a professional, friendly, and energetic manner
• Set a positive tone and high-energy environment for prospective members and teammates
• Pre-Opening Support & Team Collaboration
• Participate in daily pre-opening planning, outreach activities, and team huddles
• Work independently or as part of a team, based on daily outreach direction from the Team Leader
• Operational & Brand Standards
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and brand standards in office spaces and off-site activation areas
• Adhere to Crunch uniform and appearance standards at all times, including wearing a clean uniform and name tag
• Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the management team
• Schedule Requirement
• This is a part-time position, typically working 12–25 hours per week
• Pre-sale operations are conducted seven (7) days per week between 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Required Skills & Experience
• Communication & Language: Fluent in English with proficient reading and writing skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, friendly, outgoing, energetic, and personable communication style, comfortable engaging with new people in both one-on-one and group settings
• Customer Service & Sales: Strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating positive member experiences, ability to deliver world-class service in both club and community environments, customer service and/or sales experience preferred
• Experience & Professional Attributes: Enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated with a positive attitude, strong work ethic with the ability to multitask and problem solve in a fast-paced environment, ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team, professional attitude with interest in growth and development opportunities, interest in fitness is a plus
• Technical & Social Media Skills: Basic computer proficiency, ability to navigate club software, systems, and standard technology tools, strong social media presence across multiple platforms preferred
• Transportation Requirements: This role requires regular travel within the local market. Candidates must be able to provide proof of a valid driver’s license, active insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
• Physical Requirements: This is a physical role requiring the employee to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may require standing or bending for prolonged work hours.

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Travel Expectations
• Up to 50% travel required to local companies to promote business
• Compensation (Hourly)
• $12.00 - 12.50/hour
