Responsibilities
- Prepare and process digital files for print production
- Review and troubleshoot files for potential issues
- Ensure that all files meet quality standards and are ready for print production
- Collaborate with designers, production staff, and clients to ensure that all project requirements are met
- Maintain and troubleshoot prepress equipment and software
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in prepress technology
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in prepress operations
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Knowledge of prepress equipment and software, including RIP software, plate setters, and digital presses
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and efficiently
