About the role
Newrest is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Restaurant Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, customer service, and financial management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and high-quality service
- Manage staff schedules and training programs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and manage purchasing
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant management
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong knowledge of food service operations and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Valid Food Handlers' Permit
- Experience with point-of-sale systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
