What You’ll Do

• Prepare menu items following SMG recipes and standards
• Ensure all food preparation procedures are consistently followed
• Cook food to order, following recipes and presentation standards
• Play a key part in delivering a memorable dining experience
• Maintain a top-notch kitchen environment
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper food service
• Auxiliary with kitchen setup and food preparation for shifts as needed
• Support inventory management and track food supplies
• Adhere to all sanitation and food safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen areas
• Stay updated on new menu items and dishes

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid Food Handler Certification required
• At least 1 year of previous hospitality experience is preferred
• Experience with large-scale food preparation is preferred
• Strong cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
• Able to effectively communicate in English (verbal or written)
• Maintain a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods (6 to 9 hours)
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching or twisting
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation required
• Adequate adherence to proper work attire standards and personal hygiene
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
