Prep Cook Home Cafe- Part Time

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Efficiently and consistently prepares all menu items and specials with great attention to quality, presentation, taste, and all other details.
• Learns and establishes an efficient routine to ensure all prep work is complete to support the Home Cafe during its busiest period, ensuring optimum freshness and avoiding waste.
• Able to effectively make adjustments to provide the best overall dining experience to all customers.
• Reads recipes and makes food according to specifications.
• Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position.
• Develops, maintains, and enhances positive relations with all guests and employees.
• Wears and maintains all uniforms properly, including nametag.
• Maintains a clean workstation.
• Assists in keeping the kitchen clean and organized.
• Alerts the supervisor of any concerns regarding the quality, selection, and variety of all food.
• Performs duties in compliance with health standards, the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, and internal policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated cooking experience, preferably within a hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment.
• Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
• Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduation from high school or equivalent in education and experience.
• One (1) or more years of recent and related cooking experience is preferred, specifically within a hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment.
