Prep Cook - Part Time
Essential Functions
- Aids in the preparation of various food items according to recipes
- Works collaboratively with the team
- Cleans the entire kitchen area, kitchen equipment, refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas
- Notifies supervisor of kitchen equipment maintenance or replacement needs
- Maintains food displays and garnishes
- Utilizes, stores, and labels cooked food and items appropriately
- Checks and reports discrepancies on computer printouts for menu amounts and recipes
- Sends food usage reports to the supervisor
Qualifications
- At least 6 months of relevant food service experience
- A strong work ethic and commitment to quality
- A team-oriented mindset and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Effective communication skills and respectful behavior
- A positive attitude and dedication to excellence
- Flexibility with scheduling, including Saturdays
- Access to reliable transportation
- To be eligible for compensation, must obtain a WA Food Worker Card and Idaho Food Safety Exam certification within 14 days of hire
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation: Wages range from $14 to $16 per hour, depending on experience.
