About the role
The Premium Services Supervisor at Fishers Event Center is responsible for overseeing all areas in preparing the venue for day-to-day operations. Key duties include ordering, receiving, and preparing food items, attending in-house event-related meetings, and coordinating with the kitchen and warehouse teams.
Responsibilities
- Ordering, receiving, and preparing food items
- Attending in-house event-related meetings and relaying immediate changes to other departments
- Overseeing and directing hourly culinary staff
- Maintaining effective communication with Suite owners, guests, and premium guests
- Ensuring all requisitions to the Warehouse and Kitchen are received in a timely manner, in accordance with Company policy
- Coordinating with Kitchen on the timing and production of functions
- Able to effectively troubleshoot point of sale equipment
- Oversees and assists suite attendants, catering staff, bartenders, or premium club staff
- Checks on suites and clubs throughout events to ensure a high level of guest service
- Maintains all Suite and premium club equipment cleanliness
- Inventory and quality controls
- Supervises kitchen personnel and stewarding staff
- Works varying shifts including days, nights, weekdays, and weekends
Requirements
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a similar venue or restaurant
- Valid Indiana Server Liquor License and certificate of completion of Indiana Excise training courses
- Advanced oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to work with other staff members in the facility
- Results-oriented individual with the ability to meet required budgetary goals
- Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks
- Computer skills to include Excel programs
- Adheres to local Health Department codes
- Ability to be creative with food presentations and maintain a quality product
