About the role
Join Sodexo Live! as a Food & Beverage Supervisor supporting the opening of the brand-new Alaska Airlines Lounge at Portland International Airport.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily food and beverage operations within a premium airport lounge environment.
- Support both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality and personalized guest service.
- Aid in training, coaching, scheduling, and developing team members.
- Ensure food presentation, quality standards, and service execution meet brand expectations.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Support inventory management, product rotation, and operational organization.
- Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on service excellence and accountability.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming lounge environment for guests and employees.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in hospitality, food service, restaurants, hotels, airport lounges, catering, or premium guest service environments.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations.
- Experience supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house teams preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Exceptional guest service and communication abilities.
- Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Must be able to obtain airport security clearance and pass a TSA background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
