Premier Truck Technician / Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Lead complex diagnostics, advanced repairs, and overall shop excellence for medium and heavy-duty Class 7 & 8 trucks
• Perform precision diagnostics and repairs to ensure every truck leaves the shop in peak condition
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other technicians, enhancing team performance and technical capability
• Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, axles, steering, brakes, clutches, electrical systems, and air systems
• Execute preventive maintenance programs to ensure long-term reliability for customers
• Promote teamwork and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the shop
• Maintain operational excellence and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism

Requirements

• 7 or more years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy-duty Class 7/8 trucks
• Experience with engine repair, electronic trouble-shooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair
• Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred
• Basic computer knowledge
• Cummins and MX software experience preferred
• Self-motivation and assertiveness
• Ability to work under little or no supervision
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills
• Must provide own tools
