About the role

The Premier Banker role is dedicated to servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role focuses on managing these clients' banking relationships and ensuring all financial needs are met through a proactive, advice-based approach.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and address banking needs of mass affluent clients through proactive outreach and needs-based conversations.
  • Convert referrals, leads, and prospects to deepen and retain client relationships.
  • Engage in client outreach via phone, email, and appointments to meet with clients and coordinate introductions/interactions with appropriate partners.
  • Provide excellent client service, escalate banking issues when necessary, and adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate loan applications and closings, maintaining an active NMLS registration status.
  • Collaborate with partners like Wealth Financial Advisors to prepare for future client interactions and provide ongoing coaching to bank staff.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years financial/banking experience
  • Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) completion preferred
  • Life & Health license preferred
  • Experience with retail and small business banking
  • Understanding and experience with retail and small business banking; experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients
  • Active NMLS registration status upon hire
  • Consultative sales experience required

Qualifications

  • Ability to understand and adhere to regulations, TD Bank & TD Wealth Policies and Procedures
  • Knowledge of Retail/Wealth policies, procedures, FINRA and regulatory banking requirements
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with partners
  • Understanding and experience with loan products and processes

  • Proficiency in banking and credit products, offerings, and processes
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and partners
  • Strong relationship building and selling skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized

Pay

$25.75 - $41.50 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week.
