About the role
The Premier Banker role is dedicated to servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role focuses on growing, deepening, and retaining these clients' banking relationships through proactive outreach and advice-based approaches.
Responsibilities
- Manage and address banking needs of mass affluent clients through proactive outreach and needs-based conversations.
- Convert referrals, leads, and prospects to deepen and retain client relationships.
- Engage in client outreach via phone, email, appointments, and other means to meet with clients and coordinate introductions/interactions with appropriate partners.
- Deliver excellent client service, handle banking-related issues, and escalate risks when necessary.
- Adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Wealth Financial Advisors for joint pipeline and review meetings, preparing for future client interactions.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to bank staff on effective methods to articulate the Premier program's value and make Premier referrals.
- Understand and adhere to regulations, TD Bank & TD Wealth Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years financial/banking experience
- Successfully completed the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE)
- Lifetime Life & Health license preferred
- Experience with retail and small business banking
- Understanding and experience with loan products
- Active registration with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry) upon hire
- Consultative sales experience required

- Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients
- Ability to understand and support the Bank's Customer Service Strategy
- Ability to deliver client end-to-end advice and advocate for them with proactive insights & recommendations
- Ability to consider the impact of decisions on the well-being of TD, its clients, and stakeholders
- Ability to deliver high-level client service when dealing with internal partners or vendors
- Ability to work as a single point of contact to clients by exploring various products or services and connecting them with partners as needed

$27.75 - $41.50 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
